This web site is run by Lafayette Avionics, Inc.  Joshua D. Wright and Ronald M. Wright are the owners/partners.  Lafayette Avionics, Inc. is a Class I, II, III shop with a limited instrument rating.  Josh and Ron are both licensed pilots, hold FCC Licenses, and FAA Repairman Certificates.  This gives them the experience to advise you with your avionics needs.  They also have experience with homebuilt and experimental aircraft.

What drives them
A good philosophy is fundamental in running a sucessful business.  Josh and Ron maintain a business philosophy that provides high quality products and reliable service for their customers.

The People
Josh and Ron are the owners and the workers in this repair station.   Ron is the President and Head Bench Technician.  He started his career in avionics in the Air Force working on RADAR.  He is also a Graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.  Josh is the Vice President, Head Installer, and Secondary Bench Technician.  Much of what Josh knows was taught to him by Ron.  Billie Seaton is the Office Manager.   She runs the office with skills which create time for Josh and Ron to sell, install, and maintain equipment for their customers.   They enjoy visiting with their customers and allow them in the laboratory to watch them work. This being a family owned and operated business, they want everyone to feel at home here.   Josh and Ron like to spend their off time in the outdoors, RVing, and flying.   They believe in Christian Principles in their lives, as well as, in their business.

The Company
This repair station was started back in the 1950s by Robert Walgreen, then called P&H Electronics.  Mike Keaty then purchased it, calling it Avionics Unlimited.  Ron purchased the shop in the 1982, calling it Lafayette Avionics, Inc.  Lafayette Avionics, Inc. represents most major avionics manufacturers including:  Garmin, Bendix/King, S-TEC, PS Engineering, Narco, and many  other  lines too numerous to mention.  Josh and Ron can answer your questions, technical and otherwise, about any of these brands and assist you in selecting the avionics package that is right for you.  They honor all factory warranties, as well as, guarantee their installation work for as long as you own your aircraft.
